Winter Sports
I would like to wish all students who will be starting their Winter Sports this Saturday, the very best of luck for the season. It is exciting to be involved in a team sport, where you learn lots of invaluable life skills and have a huge amount of fun with your friends. To all participants, I encourage you to ‘Strive to Succeed’ and be the best that you can be ‘on and off’ the field/court. Please remember that Coaches, Managers, and Umpires are giving up their valuable time to ensure your team gets to play, so please show them respect. Remember it is vitally important to communicate with your Coach/Manager if you cannot make a practice or the game on Saturday. We will be relying on all parents, spectators, and supporters to respect players and the game officials and set the ultimate example to the children. Have a wonderful season in your chosen sport. I look forward to seeing you in action over the winter months.

Property Update
Our Room 3 and 4 Refurbishment Project is currently at the tender stage. We are hoping to hear back from the Ministry next week regarding the businesses that put in for tender.
You will have noticed that the Admin Block, Room 11, Room 13 and Room 7 roofs were painted in the holidays. They look very smart and we thank 'Ant the Painter’ for his effort here. Jason Harris Builders were also busy working away at the school entrance, removing dry rot from the weatherboards. Additionally, Jason’s painter Peter has given the school entrance a fresh vibrant look. The fade from light to dark blue goes through all of our school colours.
