Attention any student or athletic team looking for a service learning opportunity. JJ McLaughlin Cumberland Hill School is looking for help with raking leaves to help clean up their school yard/fire lanes clean up. If you are interested, please contact Principal Malcom at 658-1660.

"Study Buddy" at one of the elementary schools in town

Any student that would be interested in acting as tutors (aka "Study Buddies) for the English Language Learners in grades K-5 at any of the elementary schools please contact Mrs. LouAnn Broadmeadow at louann.broadmeadow@cumberlandschools.org. We have high needs at Garvin and Ashton and would appreciate any help we can get.

Rhode Island Food Pantry

The Northern RI Food Pantry, 10 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland. Visit www.nrifoodpantry.org to volunteer as a porter, carrying groceries out to clients’ cars. Hours: 10:00-12:00 on 3rd Saturday of every month. Friday evening hours also available for students wishing to bag produce, fresh bread, etc. School groups welcomed!
