WES School Play
As most of you know, Wrightstown is performing its first musical - Disney’s High School Musical, Junior to be exact! Our very own talented 5th and 6th graders have been working hard, often 4 days a week, to be prepared for this show to be performed at the beginning of June. If you are a parent of a performer and have not checked out the volunteer link or joined the remind app, please do so as soon as possible.! As the students of East High say—“We are all in this together!” and we can use all the help we can get!!

Spring is in the air! I hope that you are enjoying this warmer weather and being outside. This is a perfect time of year to spark an interest in journaling through birdwatching, a tree hunt, or even family hikes. Children love to have purposeful writing activities, so if you want some ideas for outdoor writing activities, check out this link. AND on those rainy days of Spring, if you want to remember some oldies, but goodies, check out this link for some SchoolHouse Rock Language Arts videos! It is always fun to share information with your children through songs! My website also has links for book suggestions, curriculum information, and other reading resources. As always, please reach out to me if you need suggestions or have concerns about your child’s reading. Happy Spring, and Happy Reading!
Counselor's Corner
Congratulations to Logan Lohr who won the “Calming Glitter Bottle” prize in the Silent Auction. He chose his friend Matthew Biederman to join him in my office to make his prize. Mrs. Gresko and I had a blast spending time with these students and creating the calming tools together!
All the best,

Student Council Corner
Student Council was invited to celebrate the Northampton Township’s 300th Anniversary (1722-2022) alongside the Northampton Township Public Works Department by participating in the Paint the Plow Contest. This year's theme will depict local history, “Cherishing the Past, Celebrating the Present, Welcoming the Future”. Members of the Student Council along with our Art teacher, Ms. Miguelez, will be using their artistic abilities to design and paint the front of a snowplow. The painted plows will be displayed at WES over the summer and then moved to the STAR school located in Richboro for final judging and award presentation on September 25, 2022, at the Northampton Day 300th Anniversary Festival. A picture of the plow before painting is below.
The next Student Council meeting date is on Wednesday, June 1st at 8:15 A.M.
PTO Needs Your Help with Spring Fair!
The WES PTO needs your help at the Spring Fair! Each class is responsible for filling 8 time slots during the Fair to help run the games (2 parents per hour of the Fair). We ask all parents to PLEASE help for 1 hour. It is super easy and goes very quickly. The only way that we can make the games and activities at the Fair possible is through volunteers, so please consider helping out for an hour. Teen and Grandparent volunteers would also be greatly appreciated. Volunteers will receive several FREE raffle tickets for helping out!
