Tri-State Law Conference

There was lots of great information shared at the Tri-State Law Conference. We will have a brief summary of what we learned during the Best Practice meeting on Tuesday. You can download the handouts here.

Name: Kelli Garcia

Position/role: Job/Life Coach

How long have you been at ESU 13: 7 years

Education (certified, classified if you wish): classified

What you like best about working at ESU 13: I enjoy seeing the progress each student makes year after year and the independence they develop. I am truly impressed with the support our community provides each student by providing paid employment and a sense of belonging.

Hobbies and interests: Outdoor activities, fishing, yard work. I have 3 dogs that are a big part of my life, and considered family.

Anything else you would like to share: I have 3 children, 2 of them are grown and out on their own. My youngest is 15 and just started high school. Lily, my youngest was part of the upward bound program this last summer and continues to participate in preparing for college with the program as part of her high school schedule. She also volunteers out in the community. I also have 3 grandchildren ages 4, 1 and almost 1 on September 20th. They are a big part of my life and hold a special place in my heart.
