Feb. 15th- Out of school for President's Day
School begins at 8:00-2:30. The doors open at 7:45, please be on time bringing and picking up your child everyday. Text me if you will be late so that I can save their breakfast and/or let them know in the afternoons. They worry if you are late and haven't text me.
Your child MUST wear a CLEAN mask to school everyday.
Every Wednesday is Ice Cream Day for .75 cents.
Please wash and return two towels/blankets for rest time every Monday.
Your child needs to wear a jacket to school on the cooler/cold days.
If you haven't sent a change of winter clothes, please do so ASAP.
For exchanging Valentine Day cards, it is so much faster for the children to pass them out themselves if they DO NOT put a name on the TO part of the card. They only need to write their name on the FROM part of the card. We have 16 students in our class.
If you would like to send something for our Valentine Snack aka (party), then please let me know or if you would like to send $2.00 instead so that I can get all of our treats that is fine too.
If for weather reasons we have to be out of school or delayed, remember we are Sheffield City Schools; NOT Colbert County Schools. Of course I will send out a message on remind as soon as I know any information.
Would you please talk to your child about following the rules at school? Many have had trouble with that lately, not sure why, but in order to be ready for kindergarten the children must listen to learn. These rules are also for your child's safety as well. We go over our 5 classroom rules every morning with hand movements. Your child can show you.
Rule #1 Follow directions quickly
Rule #2 Listen when the teacher is talking
Rule #3 Always be Kind and Respectful
Rule #4 Be Safe In and Out of the classroom
Rule #5 Keep your hands and feet to yourself
When you follow these rules it keeps you, your teachers, and your family happy. H-A-P-P-Y!
