4th Grade Newsletter
Nov. 28- Dec. 2
Integrated Core
This week we will finish up our Life Science Unit by reviewing and taking an open note test.
We will also start our Holiday's Around the World unit. We will learn about different cultures and how they celebrate this holiday season. We will also compare and contrast their traditions with traditions of the United States as well as those within our classrooms and homes.
Beginning Wednesday, the fourth graders will participate in a reading pilot program called Journeys. This pilot will continue through the first part of January. For more information, please read the PDF that your child's teacher attached to an email.
Math
This week we are starting Topic 9: Number Sense: Dividing by 1-Digit Divisors. We will have the topic test on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Please continue to work with your students on memorizing their multiplication and division facts. They are doing a fantastic job!
