The Real Florida
Explore the Heart of Florida
Day 1: Everglades National Park
Begin your Florida journey in the Everglades National Park where you can do so many things! From hiking to kayaking, you can tell this is an exciting habitat. Being one of the oldest national parks ever, established in 1847, the park rangers are very experienced. Looking at the large swamps is one of my favorite things to do there.
There is a lot of natural beauty there, such as alligators, endangered species, such as the Florida panther, and much more.
Day 2: Florida Holocaust Museum
Go to the Holocaust Museum in Miami Beach, and learn about the tragic events that happened in the Holocaust. This museum is dedicated to those who lost their lives, and those who survived the war. You can take tours, explore the exhibits, and hear stories of those who lived through it. There is information about Jewish-American Culture. The time period of the Holocaust was from 1939 to the late 1940's.
Day 3: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum
