EASTER CARDS HANDOUT
Thanks to TLS Students Grades 5-8 This week, students in Grades 5-8 are serving as amazing Christian witnesses. After special outreach presentations (see attached pic) on Monday & Wednesday in the church sanctuary, our students were given treats and 10 Easter cards in an envelope to simply distribute them to their neighborhoods as well as their family and friends to invite them to worship Christ this Holy Week. Many, including our teachers and pastors, are doing just that and over 1000+ Easter Cards are being hand delivered. And God is blessing those invites. Great job students and special thanks from Trinity's Evangelism Commission. Like to help these TLS students be Easter angels? Pick up extra invites in the church office and deliver them to your neighbors and friends. Let's keep teaching our kids to share their Holy joy that heaven is ours because of Christ. Jesus said: "You will be my witnesses" (Acts 1:8).
Our annual Trinity Track Meet will be held on May 4th, at WLC's Raabe Stadium. We are in need of many volunteers to help the events and day run smoothly. Please consider volunteering to help out.

SAVE PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS!
Plastic Bag Collection Challenge
The classroom that raises the most plastic bags will win our annual ice cream sundae bar!
One of our Day of Giving Activities is to prep plastic bags for making plastic sleeping mats for a local organization that works with homelessness issues in our community. We need as many plastic grocery store-type bages as possible - clean and free of holes or tears. These would be Woodman's, Pick N Save, Meiers, etc. even those nice strong ones from Sendik's and Menards. If in doubt, send it in. Anything we cannot use will be given to Waukesha Recycles who will be doing a recycling assembly for some of the younger grades. It takes 700 bags to make one mat, so we really cannot collect too many!
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Rhiannon Cupkie at 414-839-4686. Thank you!
plastic bags are needed!!! Bring in by Friday April 26
Trinity will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week the week of April 29 – May 3! This year we will be celebrating our “SWEET” Teachers and treating them with sweets and treats for a week.
On April 17th, a wall featuring Trinity’s Sweet Teachers will be posted downstairs, outside the gym doors. The Sweet Treat Wall will contain wish list items for our teachers. If you are able, please consider taking a wish list request for a teacher(s) and bring it in to the classroom during the week of April 29th.
We are planning a breakfast to start the week off on Monday, April 29th. We are still in need of a couple of donations to make their breakfast really sweet. If you are able to help, here is a link to the sign up. Teacher Appreciation Breakfast
We are planning a luncheon for the teachers on Friday, May 3rd, from 11:30 – 1:00. We are looking for volunteers to help cover the classrooms during that time, so if you are interested, please email Tammy Raabe at email@example.com with your preferred classroom or use the link to sign up. YOUR RESPONSE NEEDED
$78.00 is the amount needed in your student's lunch account to take hot lunch each day for the rest of the year ( April 18th - May 22nd and does not include extra portions, any current negative balance, or any field trips). Do you know what your student's lunch balance is? Check it out via PowerSchool. Get a check or cash into the school office soon.
Reminder - The Board of Education adopted a policy that when a student’s lunch account becomes negative $20, that student will not be allowed to select the #1 entrée for lunch. However #2, PBJ, and #3, Salad Bar, will still be lunch options for the student.
The staff salaries and food expenses are paid for solely by the funds collected for lunch. Any amounts in your student's lunch accounts that do not get used this year, will roll over into the next school year. You can monitor you students lunch balance and receive email alerts at a threshold of your choosing via Power School. Thank you for keeping positive balances in your student's lunch account!

HELP OUR WAUKESHA NEIGHBORS NOW USING FOOD BARRELS
Donate April 1st - 30th
The Board of Elders have placed large food barrels to collect food on Trinity’s Campus as part of a larger Good Samaritan effort to directly support our community Waukesha Food Pantry. Bring your non-perishable, non-expired food items (bring something you and your family would like to eat such as cereal, canned foods, mac & cheese, etc. – a complete list is on the barrels) to help feed our @1200 hungry neighbors who come to the Pantry every week. Think about it – your donations feed a group as big as our entire Trinity membership – EVERY WEEK. Contact Elder Jason Krueger for more info: 262-719-6969. Our Savior Jesus has told us: “Love one another” (John 13:34). Will you help us help our neighbors?
WLHS Work Days—Do you have yard work or spring cleaning that needs to get done such as watering, planting flowers, laying mulch, washing windows, etc.? Consider hiring hard-working members of WLHS student council for a day or a few hours for a free-will donation. All money raised will go to WLHS’ mission project to support ministry in Ethiopia. The work days will be held on any Saturday or Sunday from April 13-May 19. To request a team, please contact Claire Albrecht at 262-751-2153 or email@example.com with your name, address, phone number, the work you need accomplished, and the day(s) this work could be completed.
