All Saints Episcopal School - Dec. 3, 2012
COMMUNITY
Now that the turkey and cranberry sauce have been put away and the Christmas decorations begin to go up, it is time to start thinking about our next school-wide service effort.... The Beaumont Enterprise E.J. Empty Stocking Fund! Students will be encouraged to think of creative and helpful ways to earn extra money to donate to less fortunate children in our area. Raking leaves? Hot chocolate stand? Help decorate for Christmas? Foregoing a toy or treat? All donations will be collected during the offering at our Holy Communion service on December 19th at 8:10 AM. Thank you in advance for helping to make Christmas a little brighter for those less fortunate in Beaumont!
SPIRITUALITY
Led by Louise Van Mook and John McClure, our Middle School students enjoyed a very special Middle School chapel last week. These two wonderful local youth ministers/musicians played contemporary music while students sang along to the lyrics found on their iPads! What a beautiful blending of spirituality and technology! John provided the final message of the semester for his three part series. All of our Middle School students look forward to more special Middle School chapels in the spring! Thank you John and Louise!
