Our Vision: Learning and Growing in Christ

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Kia Ora Koutou Katoa, Talofa Lava, Malo e Lelei, Ni Sa Bula Vinaka, Kia Orana, Hola como Estas, Marhaba, Greetings to you all.
Big picture

As we look forward to beginning a new school year, let’s think a little bit about Gratitude. Consciously cultivating gratitude in your life can alter the way you see the world for the better! Seeing the goodness in everything and everyone, and making an effort to acknowledge it, dramatically shifts the way we see our own life, the people in it, and the many wonderful gifts we are given. Encouraging our children to cultivate gratitude is setting them up for a healthy, resilient adulthood. Why not have a family discussion this week and talk about all the things we can be grateful for?

Blessings on your week ahead 😊

Message from the Principal

Dear Parents

How unfortunate that this week, we are welcoming you all through our newsletter instead of acknowledging you all in person as you enter into our school for the 2023 year. The major weather event that has engulfed Auckland over our Anniversary Weekend has caused some major damage across our city and has disrupted the start of our school year.

Our school and surrounding area has escaped any major damage and for this we are truly grateful. We were anxious as we thought the torrential rain may have caused damage to our B block that is in the middle of having windows removed and replaced, but luckily the site was well protected with the overhead canopy and the fencing.

We are delighted that you will all be able to return to school on Tuesday 7 February after Waitangi Weekend when we hope you will all be able to venture outside and enjoy some true New Zealand summer weather before returning to school, revitalised and ready to Live and Learn in Christ.

Nga manaakitanga ki a koutou katoa
