We are working with Matt to set up a live camera feed so that students can see the pieces being called. Please watch for an email link. Our back up plan would be for each teacher to have pieces ready and their document camera on and display the pieces that way. Let me know if you have any questions.

Big Hollow Primary Students
You are invited to attend a special preview performance of Lion King Jr. on Tuesday, November 27th at 8:50 a.m. in the Middle School Multi-Purpose Room!
Singing during the songs is encouraged.
A flyer will be in your mailbox to hang in your classroom!
Teachers - bring your jackets and attendance folders with to announcements on Tuesday the 27th. Take attendance in the cafeteria and send it to the office. We will leave student backpacks on the table and walk over to the middle school as soon as announcements are complete. Specials teachers will watch your class during the performance so that you do not miss your prep time. We should be returning to the primary school thru the cafeteria by 9:55 am. Specials beginning at 10 am should be back on schedule at the primary building

Please access this spreadsheet to share topics or ideas your grade level will be working on. It will help Peggy, Brenda, and Katie know what you're doing in class so they can help coordinate and plan thematic activities in their classes. It's also a great way for grade levels to collaborate with each other and buddy up for combined activities!

CIA Meetings
We are scheduling a half day meeting time on Wednesday, December 5. We have already gotten subs, but please submit a 1/2 day professional day in Skyward. Do NOT request a sub.
Kindergarten: 8:10-11:20 am (kindergarten teachers will eat lunch 11:30-12:10)
1st grade: 12:20-3:30 pm
PE, specials, PreK - date to be determined
PBIS
Tier 2 meeting on November 28th at 8:10 am in the art room
Acknowledge inappropriate behavior every time. This doesn't mean that everything has to be written up as a minor or a major, but inappropriate behavior cannot be ignored!
Academic Enrichment Clubs
Please complete the Academic Enrichment Club approval form here if you'd like to offer a club to students after school this year. Please contact me if you have any questions. I will need these forms completed and submitted ASAP. Remember- pay is $50 per hour. Thanks!

Updates expenditures and income of the Big Hollow PTO. Maintains the PTO’s status as a 501c3 charity. Handles all banking responsibilities of the Big Hollow PTO.

Communicates between the teachers and the PTO to make sure the logistics of events coordinate with the plans of District 38.
Lisa Swiderski - Volunteer Coordinator - lisaswiderski@bighollow.us
Is the volunteer coordinator. She creates and manages the sign-ups, and she's the one you'll be looking for when you are volunteering.
