Rumpelstilsken
Missoula Children's Theater (MCT) is coming to town!! This is a great opportunity for students to get acquainted with the theatrical world. 2 directors come with experience, supplies, props and set materials to help our students put on a show in 1 week! This year's performance will be Rumpelstiltskin.
This year's event will take place in Spillville. A shuttle bus to Spillville will be provided each day. Any 3-8th grade student who would like to participate will need to audition. If your child would like to audition please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher.
Auditions will be on Monday, January 31 from 3:00-5:00pm. After auditions on Monday, the directors will assign roles and provide a practice schedule. At this time, students with lead roles will stay for their first practice. If your child is auditioning, please arrive at the Spillville center at 5:00pm to pick up your child. Supper will be provided for those students staying for the first practice Monday night.
Our performance will be on Friday, February 5 at 1:00pm in the Spillville gym. It is open to the public. Admission will be a free will offering to help defray the cost of this event.
*Note: Students are required to attend all scheduled practices for their part or they will not be able to perform.
