Mrs. Shorter's Showcase

Skills Agenda for the week of March 21-25, 2016

Last Week in Review

In our big backyard adventure last week, we completed our study of bees by comparing them to wasps. We headed outside on Friday to observe these tiny creatures in their natural habitat. We used our hand lenses and our eyes to observe while taking notes like entomologists. We returned to the room where we learned to use a microscope to really get a closer look at these small creatures.

We began our Boosterthon fundraiser this week. We currently have close to $20 per lap per student in our class. We've earned extra recess and snack outside. We are hoping to reach our top incentive. At $90 per student per lap, we'll receive a popcorn/coke party. You can help us by getting pledges for your little runner.
