Classroom Placement Information
Once you log on to the portal and find your child's teacher, please visit https://www.cbsd.org/jamison (Jamison’s website) to read the letter and any pertinent information from the teacher. Simply click on the tab “Link to Room Assignment/Teacher” with your child’s teacher’s name and room number and that will direct you to their website. A Message for CB Families RE: 2021-2022 School Year Planning
Dear Central Bucks families,
On June 27, 2021, the Central Bucks School District’s Board of School Directors approved a health and safety plan for the 2021-2022 school year. The adopted plan, developed in consultation with the Bucks County Health Department, is a fluid document that will take into consideration emerging guidance and recommendations from state and local officials, and utilize current data surrounding the trajectory of the virus at the local level to inform subsequent decisions. To ensure the effectiveness of the plan, it will continue to be a standing agenda item at monthly board meetings, at which time the board can revisit and revise the plan based upon the guidance of local and state health officials.
When students return to school on August 30, 2021, our schools will offer in-person instruction, five days per week. The K-12 school day will return to regular arrival and dismissal times, and all teachers will be in-person, in classrooms. For K-6 students, an online-only instructional program option will be offered. Families are invited to click here for more information, including how to enroll. Interested K-6 families should complete the enrollment form before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
Additional points for families to know as we continue to plan for the start of the 2021-2022 school year are as follows:
- Masking will be optional when students return to school on August 30, 2021.
- Proof of a COVID-19 vaccination will not be required of students or employees.
- Distancing of at least three feet or more will be maintained wherever possible.
The district has also prepared an infographic with key points for the 2021-2022 school year for families.
We are excited to welcome back our students and staff this fall. While the past sixteen months have been challenging, we remain optimistic about the coming year and the many opportunities awaiting our students. May you continue to enjoy the remaining weeks of summer, and please be on the lookout for upcoming communications from the district.
Respectfully,
Abram M. Lucabaugh, Ed.D.
