General information

- The Sherrard public library also has a lot of February Events.
- The Teen Advisory Board meets every Friday before school, everyone is welcome to join.
- The Teen Advisory Board is selling Valentines to help fund craft events and other programs in the library. Valentines will be on sale in the library from Monday, February 10 - Thursday, February 13. They will be 50 cents each, and will be delivered on Friday, February 14.
- The library will be hosting a make -your-own Valentine event during all lunch hours on Friday, February 14.
- Students should bring their chromebooks to the library for repairs. We will also give out loaners if a student needs one for other reasons, unless we only have ten or fewer loaners left. We will always give a student a loaner for a repair. We can also charge chromebooks for students.

Focus Electronic Resource: World Book Student
This is a part of the World Book Suite. This part of World Book is geared towards elementary to intermediate level students, and has a wide range of searchable articles.
Focus Fiction: Realistic Fiction
Realistic Fiction is a large category, and covers stories that reflect the world, or some aspect of it, as it could really be. These are imagined stories, but with realistic characters and settings.
Focus Nonfiction Section: 600s
The 600s section of nonfiction has books about technology, innovation, and inventions of all sorts. Students that like books about new vehicles, various inventions, and farm animals should check out this section of nonfiction. Books on cooking can also be found in this area.
