Sending an email to your homeroom teacher? Please be sure to include your name and the name of your student in the email.
Remember, students should be working in IXL every week - 1 hour in Math and 1 hour in ELA
A new weekly Go Formative quiz opened on Friday, Feb. 19th for ELA. A new quiz for math and ELA will be opened on Friday, Feb. 26th. Remember the quizzes will be available for one week only. Go formative quizzes give us information about a student's understanding of a topic so they should be completed by the student independently.
A few of the 1st grade teachers will be out a few days this week helping with ACT testing. We will be sending recordings for the days we are out.

Retell the stories that you read from the beginning, middle, and end.
MATH
Review Skill Sheets
Math Fact Fluency - Students should be working on memorizing the addition and subtraction math facts to 20. There are some online games listed above for extra practice.
March Literacy Activities
March Madness - During the month of March, we will be holding a March Madness Book Competition. All students should have an account set up by their teacher in EPIC. Students will have the opportunity to read books and vote for their favorites.
Read Across America - March 1st-5th is Read Across America week. An email was sent out with the spirit day events, as well as activities you could do with your students.

Where do I enter my Class Connect Attendance?
- You can enter it under the subject of your Class Connect. For example, time for a math Class Connect should be entered under your math attendance for the day.
What do I do if my lesson takes longer/shorter than the time that automatically populates?
- Those times are all editable for a reason. Please change them to reflect the actual time you spend in each area with your student.
