Be Kind ~ Be Awesome ~ Make The Right Choices

Volume 2 ~ Issue 17~ November 23, 2020

Amazing Triton Staff,

This week is bittersweet for me as this season between Thanksgiving and New Year's is my favorite time of the year. Every year, I host Thanksgiving for my family and friends who have become part of our extended family including many plus ones that may be brought to our home. We typically end up having three turkeys, three ways, a large ham and a top sirloin roast, in addition to all the side dishes. And the rule is that no one brings desserts as I bake all the pies and other baked goods. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, our party of 30+ is going to have to take a back seat to ensure our family safety. Instead, it will be an intimate gathering of four so that our COVID bubble remains small. I encourage to be vigilant this holiday season so that you and your family can enjoy it,

Academic Honor Roll Celebration A success!

Congratulations to all who made the honor roll list. Teachers, don't forget to excuse students who attended. They should have sent you a picture of the excuse slip or a picture of their award. A special shoutout to all the staff who made this event a success. Our gesture of celebration goes a long way with our parents and students. It does not go unnoticed.

A Week-long Pause in the In-Person Academic Support

In order to mitigate all potential exposure as a consequence of the Thanksgiving weekend, all staff who come to campus must undergo a mandated COVID test on either November 30 or December 1. Additionally, all in-person academic support will also be on pause and students who have been identified to attend in one of the cohorts will not be back on campus until the week of December 7 - 11.
