Picture Retake Day - November 9th

Late Start Monday – November 15th - 9:55 a.m.

On these days, homeroom starts one hour later, 9:55 a.m., than usual for students so that faculty and staff can participate in Professional Learning opportunities and work together to improve teaching skills and the academic performance of students. Buses continue to operate on the regular schedule during late start dates; however, parents also can choose to transport their child to school by the scheduled later start time (exactly one hour later than normal).

Students who arrive early will participate in supervised activities until the school day begins.

Everyday checkout procedures

  • Please send a note with your student to the front office the morning of the early check out.
  • Put the time you will check out your student in the note.
  • The note becomes the students PASS to leave class and meet you at the front desk.
  • We do not call into classrooms as not to interrupt instructional time.

If you have question about this please contact Carman Anderson, Jackie Dejo or Patricia Movilla-Leal.

FCS COVID 19 Reporting Procedures

FCS COVID 19 Reporting

Due to the ever-changing nature of this pandemic, the district will continue to monitor COVID data and recommendations, consult with public health officials, and make additional adjustments as necessary. If your child is sick, please keep them home. Families are still required to report a confirmed positive case of COVID-19, a pending COVID-19 test result (regardless of the reason for testing), and a direct contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive. FCS student/parents must use the Parent Reporting Portal to make the COVID-19 report.
