Lincoln Elementary Weekly Update

November 23, 2020

Message from Mrs. Kirkwold

Dear Lincoln families,

As we look forward to a holiday week that reminds us of all we are thankful for, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to our Lincoln families and community. You have been flexible with us and extended grace as we muddle through constant change this year. You have been our partner in keeping our students equipped with what they need to be safe and healthy at school. You have been so supportive of our staff who want, more than anything, to teach your children in person and see their smiles. We honestly would not be where we are today without your support. Thank you!

Please stay safe this holiday week, in whatever way you choose to celebrate and be with those you love. Wash hands, wear masks if possible, and be mindful. We hope to come back on the 30th and keep going until winter break but need your help to make that happen.

In partnership,

Mrs. Kirkwold

To report an absence, please call or email the Lincoln office (contact information at the bottom, also linked on our Lincoln home page). You can alert the classroom teacher if you wish, but they will not be responsible for reporting absences to our office and nurse. When you call or email to report an absence, please include symptoms so that our nurse can follow up with you as needed.

Book Fair

You’re invited to shop our Scholastic Book Fair online from Nov. 30 - Dec. 13. All purchases benefit our school and connect kids with new books, favorite characters, complete series, and more.

You’ll love the NEW option to shop for Book Fair exclusives directly from the interactive booklist and enjoy these special online shopping features:

  • Over 6,000 items, including new releases, best sellers, and value packs
  • All orders ship direct to home
  • FREE shipping on book-only orders over $25*
  • All purchases support our school and earn 25% in rewards

Winter Recess Gear

Unfortuanly, we will not be able to lend students items as we have in past years. It will be very important that these items be sent with your child each day.

Please know that if winter recess gear is a hardship for your family, we would be happy to help.
