Winter Assistance Deadline is TODAY!

It is hard to believe that the winter months are quickly approaching. Every year Hoosier Road offers support to students and their families to help make these next few months a little warmer and their winter break more joyful. This year, in an effort to ensure that we are supporting all of our students through the winter months, we are reaching out to all of our Hoosier Road families for help. If you are in need of support this season or if you are interested in supporting a family this year, please click the link below and answer the questions accordingly. Please be sure to complete this form by the end of the day on Friday, November 4th.

Lantern Walk this Sunday!

Join us at 5:30pm on Sunday, November 6th for our annual Lantern Walk tradition to brighten and embrace the darkness of winter together!

Please park in the front lot and walk around the side of the building by the woods. If you didn't pre-purchase a lantern, there may be a few extras that can be purchased for $10 (cash only).

All proceeds will go to the Kristal Sergi Scholarship. Thank you for supporting the memory of one of our own.

This Month's Read-a-loud

Our school-wide read aloud for November is Stolen Words. All of our teachers will be reading this book with their class, but we encourage you to read it as a family as well.

Veterans Day Program

Hoosier Road's much anticipated annual Veterans Day Program will be held in the gym on Thursday, November 10th at 9:00AM. Doors will open at 8:45 AM for the performance . Please enter through Door 10 (near the gym). Our first through fourth graders will all be performing. Due to space limitations, we are asking that only one parent per participating student attend; sorry, no siblings. However, if you would like to bring a veteran or someone currently serving in our armed forces as a special guest, they are welcome and encouraged to attend.

To speed up the entrance process and help with seating, there will be two lines located at the gym door (exit 10) -- one for parents with veterans and one for parents only. This is considered a public event so no background checks will be required.

Our first through fourth graders are very excited to celebrate Veterans Day through singing, reading and honoring those who have served our country so that we may enjoy all of our freedoms.
