9TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL
The Freshmen girls’ basketball team brought home another win Tuesday night, downing Haltom 40-23.
The team started off strong, proving their 2-3 defense was hard to beat. Haltom was only able to put up 12 points by the half. Emma Okruch, and Delanie Butler cleared almost every defensive rebound of the night, while Christalynn Tate & Claudia Valle were unstoppable on the offensive glass, ripping over 15 rebounds down in the second half alone.
Defensively, Gianni Dichari & Ygonie Kabongo made some great plays & forced several turnovers that turned into points for us.
A great team win last night! We will travel to South Grand Prairie Friday night for tip-off at 6:PM

Macey Mercer finished with 24 points, Kennedy Wright with 9, and Samantha Molina with 7.
The B team played against a tough and quick North Ridge team. The girls came back with big shots from Canton Lipham and Natalia Rich to put us down only 5 in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, North Ridge got a few fast breaks towards the to end to finish the game 17-24. Daniella Peterson, Maddox Vickers, and Tallulah Keonig all had 4 points.
7TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL
The defense was led by a scrappy performance by Kaitlyjn Tietjan, Skylar Henley & Kylee Martin. Our tight defense forced several turnovers that turned into fast break buckets. At halftime the girls had a 24-2 lead, and only kept pushing from there. Everyone on the team scored for the second game in a row, showcasing their teamwork & athleticism.
