In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our schools and our community, all students in District 303 will participate in full remote instruction from November 30 through December 19. Meal service will be provided to all families.

There is no school the week of November 23. School offices will be open from 7:00-3:00 November 23-25 and closed November 26-27. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

On behalf of the Student Life Office, we would like to thank all those who contributed food and monetary donations to the SCN 2020 Thanksgiving Turkey Drive. With the help of SCN staff and the following students: Alana King, Nathan Kumar, and Kyle Lam, we were able to put together Thanksgiving Day feasts for our families in need! Thank you!

Thank you to all those that participated in the PTO’s Veterans Day restaurant event. We earned $210, which is our highest restaurant day in years. We will be sending a check for $105 on behalf of North families to the American Veterans Society. We plan to continue this contribution event every year.

• Due to COVID restrictions, only students are allowed in the building for this appointment.

The December 8-9 picture dates have been rescheduled to January 14-15. Information will be mailed to families directly from HR Imaging.

Attention North Stars - #SCNYearbook is looking for signing and/or commitment photos of senior athletes! We are listed as St. Charles North H.S. in Yearbook Snap. If you search with Saint or St without the period, it will not show up.

During our three weeks of remote learning, November 30 through December 18, students will still have the ability to put books on hold through the Destiny Discover System.

Once a book is put on hold, our LRC staff will check it out to the student's account and place the book inside the main entrance (Door #4) with their name on it. Students can pick up the book(s) during regular school hours. Additional information is available at the "Destiny Discover" link above.

Mrs. Simoncelli recently emailed all students who have not yet synced their Zoom accounts with the District account. Included in her email were directions on how to sync their accounts. For the students’ protection, they must sync their accounts, even if all of their teachers use Google Meet.
