Celebrating the Gift of Catholic Education

As we celebrated Catholic Education Week this week, we have highlights from students, parents, staff, and clergy that share the essence of who we are. What prevails from every message is the hope and joy of seeing every child as a "masterpiece". Thank-you parents for choosing Catholic Education and entrusting us with your children. It is a blessing and privilege to walk with each of them on their faith and learning journeys every day.

Let all that you do be done in love. Corinthians 16:14

I am grateful for the gift of Catholic Education for my children. The difference can be felt the moment I walk through the front doors of the Catholic schools in our community. Our Catholic schools reach beyond curriculum requirements to teach to the mind, body and spirit of each student. Our schools provide an environment in which our children feel love, worthiness, belonging and are reminded that they never walk alone. God is always by our side and is only ever a prayer away!

By Kids 4 Kids Sale! Last Chance to Declutter and Share...

Last chance to donate Monday-Wednesday this week! All SJ students are invited to donate any gently used toys, books, or children's clothing.

On Thursday, May 16 we will host our Buy, Sell, Give Extravaganza where all students (any families too) will have an opportunity to attend the sale in our gym and purchase any of the items. (All with parental permission, of course). All proceeds will go to our Valeda House goal, our two foster children, and any remaining funds will go to supporting our students at Saint John XXIII.

Please donate and come and shop our Extravaganza! Parents and families are welcome on the 16th to purchase any donated items!

Healthy Champions May Focus: The Power of Play

Each month at Saint John XXIII, we have a focus that encourages our staff and students to be healthy and active. This month's focus is: Bring Back Play! Kids do this naturally; climbing, running, and exploration outside, builds fine and gross motor coordination and makes powerful and important brain connections. Play=strong and healthy kids!
