Weber School Newsletter
23th February - Week 4, Term 1 - 2023
Principal's Piece
Tena Koutou Katoa Weber whanau,
What a week it has been. I hope everyone is safe and well after the incredible impact Cyclone Gabrielle has had on our district with flooding, slips, and many road closures. Many of our roads are still officially closed so please take care.
To our families who are still unable to get out please take care and let us know if there is anything we can do to help. We look forward to seeing everyone soon.
Thank you once again to our school community for their ongoing support and understanding when making a decision to close school. As you can appreciate the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our community is paramount. Online learning has been sent to everyone via email in case of closure / unable to get school.
Just a reminder the working bee planned for Friday 24 February has been postponed.
Take care and stay safe.

We would like to thank Greg Mitchell, from Growater for the prompt and hard mahi over the holidays installing our 2 brand new water tanks and water monitoring system.
We would also like to thank those who nominated Weber School during the 2022 bobby calf season, we received a donation of thirty five cents from every calf. As a result we received $135.10 from Farmer meat export. Thank you.
We would also like to thank all the wonderful members of the community that have contributed to our school by nominating us to receive fifty cents for every 100L of bulk fuel they got from Fern Fuels, as a result of this amazing generousity we have $919 in the kete, we are so close to the $1000 goal, where we then can redeem this for sporting goods, technology and music packs!
