LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS SPOTLIGHT
The Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers
This scholarship, up to $8000 over 4 years, is awarded to a prospective teacher planning to enroll in a Raising Texas Teacher partner university. The recipient must also commit to working in a majority-economically disadvantaged school or in a shortage subject area in a Texas public school.

COMEDY DEFENSE DRIVING SCHOLARSHIP
Fort Worth ISD seniors are encouraged to apply for the Comedy Defense Driving Scholarship. Recipients must design an advertisement that will educate the public about the dangers of
distracted driving; texting, drugs, alcohol, eating and/or any other distraction of the senior's choice.
Students must be planning to major, or be majoring, in one of the design professionals, such as Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering (i.e., Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) or construction related professionals such as Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
This scholarship is valued at $1500.

Impossible Possibilities
The Impossible Possibilities Scholarship Program provides $2,000 scholarships to help students reduce the cost of higher education. Students are selected based on academic achievement, life experience, desire to succeed and individual need.

EECU Glenn Mandeville Memorial Scholarship
The EECU Glenn Mandeville Memorial Scholarship Program provides (8) $5,000 scholarships to
students that are, or have an immediate family member in good standing with EECU.
The scholarship must be used for the purpose of study at an accredited college or university.

All T3 Partnership information and updates will be sent to the email the student lists in their Pledge form. If contact information changes, email support@T3partnership.org as soon as possible.

GOLD SEAL APPLICATIONS DUE BY WEEK’S END
The application deadline for 2021-2022 Fort Worth ISD’s Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice is Friday, December 4, 2020. Online applications will be accepted until 5 p.m.
Visit www.fwisd.org/choice to complete the application by the deadline and learn more about the Gold Seal opportunities available.
Once the application window closes, Gold Seal applicants will be admitted to schools and programs by a computer-generated lottery. Families will be notified via email when lottery results are ready to view. The notification will be sent by email in mid-January 2021.
Students not selected to their first choice will be placed on a waiting list for that choice unless the choice is Arlington Heights Dance, Young Women’s Leadership Academy or I.M. Terrell Academy Visual and Performing Arts. Applicants not identified as eligible through the screening process for the three programs will be placed on a waiting list for their second choice if not admitted to the second choice.
