Madison, Adams, & NPHS Picture Day
Picture Days for Grades 6-12
As we continue to social distance due to COVID-19, we are trying something new for school portraits this year. We are hosting NPPS grades 6-12 school portraits from July 28 - 30 at North Platte High School. We need all secondary students (Grades 6-12) to schedule a school portrait session on July 28 - 30 between 4–8 PM.
Benefits To Taking Photos In July
Proper Social Distancing
School ID's available on the first day of school
Students can bring one person with them to help make sure the session goes well
Online previews will be available before ordering
Earlier Re-Takes if needed
Less chance of cancellation due to possible COVID restrictions
Sessions will be at North Platte High School, July 28-30, From 4:00–8:00 PM.
SCHEDULING. To help us provide the best possible experience, we require you to select a 30-min block for each student. If you have multiple students in your household, you may choose the same time block when you complete the form each time (one form submission per student). We will use the responses to determine staffing. These are not individual appointments, so expect other families to be present. Proper distancing and guidelines will be enforced for your safety. Depending on volume, your appointment may extend beyond the 30-minute block – we ask for flexibility as we navigate this new experience.
ORDERING. Because of our accelerated timeline, pre-ordering is not available. You will receive proofs within one week of your session, at which point you can view and order online. This way, you get to see your student's photos before deciding what to order!
WHAT ABOUT ELEMENTARY? Picture Days for Grades PreK-5 are not affected and will occur once school begins. You will receive more info about your child's picture day in the coming weeks. Please do not schedule elementary students for the secondary session times.
We realize this may not be convenient in the middle of your summer, and we genuinely appreciate your cooperation. If you absolutely cannot make any of these times, make-up dates are being scheduled for the second week of school.
See you soon!

Kids Klub
Kids Klub Virtual Fitness
Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, Kids Klub Director, Carrie Lienemann will go live on the Kids Klub Facebook page and feature a new activity done right here in North Platte. So far we have walked Cody Park and went on a bike ride with our dogs. Still to come are a diving lesson with Deland Humpherys, a certified dive instructor, a jazzercise session with Maddy Krebs, water safety interview with Ms. Trudy, Cody Go Karts Mini Golf, skateboarding with Brodie Lienemann, and LOTS MORE! Stay tuned!
At the end of the fitness series, we will do a live drawing, and 20 student participants will win a trip to The Sports Shoppe to pick out a new pair of shoes.
We continue to work with our district leaders as well as our local and state leaders to come up with a return to school plan for Kids Klub. At this time, we ask that you stay tuned to www.nppsd.org and the Kids Klub Facebook page for information on back to school. As always, the safety and security of our students and staff is our number one priority. We thank you for your patience as we work through the ever-changing sea of information. We are doing everything we possibly can to ensure a safe transition back to after school time. See you in the fall!
Have a wonderful summer!
Carrie Lienemann, Director
