Principal's Message

Good afternoon Junior Jacket families,

Thank you all for a great first week back at school in 2021! It was great to see all of our students. As we continue through this school year, please let us know if there is anything that we can do to support your student(s).

This newsletter is brief, but please see below for the following information:

1. Upcoming Virtual Club Opportunity

2. Reminders from our Attendance Clerk and Nurse

If you have questions, please let us know!

Together in Education,

A couple reminders:

  1. For car riders, please make sure you are continuing to pull as far forward as possible in our car loop in the mornings. This allows us to maximize the amount of students we can let out at one time. When there are weather issues (i.e. rain) this is especially important because we have the covered walkway on the far side of the loop. This allows students coverage as the walk to the building and helps them avoid getting wet.
  2. As we continue with the colder months, please make sure your student has a jacket or sweatshirt with them when they come to school. Also, please make sure that those jackets and sweatshirts have your children's names written inside on a tag or label.

Upcoming Club Opportunity

While the Fort Mill School District is unable to offer onsite club options, the Charlotte Chess Center is providing another virtual opportunity for students to join the chess club. There is a flyer attached to this newsletter, along with the information below.
