Childhood
Walter Elias Disney was born December 5th, 1901 and died December 15th, 1966. Walt Disney grew up in Hermosa, Chicago, Illinois, during his childhood he was always interested in drawing. He taught himself how to draw at the age of five. When him and his brothers got mad about their relationship with their father, they each decided to run away one by one.
Challenges Walt faced
When Walt was only 22 years old he had a job as a cartoon artist but then had to file bankruptcy. He also was rejected by a cartoon artist. People used to tell Walt that he wasn't good enough. People were always doubting him and telling him he would never make it. He finally showed people that they were wrong about him when he came out with Mickey Mouse.
