Learning, Loving, and Growing!
Look Ahead
We had such fun this week. During our Google Expedition time, we used the "goggles" to take virtual field trips. We traveled to the White House to see the holiday decorations. Then we went to the North Pole and visited polar bears and the scientists that study them. After, we went to Australia to a dinosaur museum and explored several exhibits. Then our class toured several American monuments, including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Statue of Liberty. Finally, we traveled to the Caribbean and explored several different coral reefs. We really enjoyed the opportunity to get to explore these areas (they were very excited!).
In addition to all that fun, we got to participate in the Hour of Code with Mrs. Mitchell. She had them exploring the app Kodable, which is a free app they can use at home.
And last, but certainly not least, a BIG thank you to all the parents who sent in items for our Polar Express day and our special "elves" who set up our classroom. It was a magical day and we couldn't have done it without you!

Newsletters
There will be no newsletter next week. Children report back to school on January 4th. I hope everyone has an exceptional Christmas and enjoys this time with their families. Mrs. Caldwell and I feel blessed each day to get to love and teach your kids. They bring us so much joy and that really is the best gift! Merry Christmas!
