What is Copyright?

Definition of Copyright:

The exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.

Basically, its a right given to the producer of a certain material, that authorizes users to do certain things with the material. There are many different types of Copyright.

There are Five types of Copyright Licenses:

Public Domain, Freeware, Shareware, All Rights Reserved, and Open Source.
