Proud to be a Panther Principal
Additionally, at the football game last Friday, I had the opportunity to witness our students in a more casual environment, and they made me proud. At this level, very few students actually sit in the stands and watch the game. It is more of a social gathering for our students to hang out together, and eat concession stand food. The entire game, the students just hung out, talked, ate food, and acted like junior high kids, causing no problems. I appreciate your help as parents setting this expectation, as it makes an event like a high school football game, much more enjoyable.

Student Council and Honors Council
All student leaders that are interested in running for student council should pick up a Student Council Packet in the office. All packets are due to Mrs. Ruckman in Room 106/107 by the end of the day on Friday, September 2nd.
Students also have the opportunity to be a part of Honors Council, which is a non-elected position that gives students the opportunity to assist and support the Student Council. Honors Council packets are also available in the office. All packets are due to Mrs. Ruckman in Room 106/107 by the end of the day on Friday, September 2nd.

PTO Information
PTO meetings will be the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm. Our next meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, September 1.
Please consider volunteering this year. There are things you can do from home, opportunities to send items/food in, or assisting the teachers in copying and other similar activities. Please take a moment to complete this on-line form and let us know how you can help out this year. https://goo.gl/forms/q8VyWxTOOBOLlj4i2
Show your support and get your family's name on a Panther in the main entrance. We are trying to avoid a fundraiser this school year. For a donation of $15, you get a bronze panther, $30 a silver panther and $50 or more a gold panther. There are many things we would like to make happen for our students this year, but this support is critical in determining what we are able to do.
