Falcon News Flash

January 9, 2022

Hello Frontier Families!

It is unbelievable that we are in the second semester of this school year. As we move into this semester after the winter break, we are seeing a significant increase in positive cases of flu and Covid. Please be aware of any symptoms your child might exhibit and ensure they are able to come to school and participate as normal.

Last year during the school year, the district curriculum consultants created an IXL competition between schools. We are doing that again and it started in the month of December. We are looking at math skills in IXL that are proficient or mastered at all grade levels except Pr-K. The school that has the most skills proficient/mastered will move on to the next round. In December we were in a bracket against Heritage Elementary and we won that round. Go Falcons! We moved on to the next round against Charles Haskell and will find those results at the end of January.

With the increase of positive cases of illnesses, we are in great need of substitutes. If you are in a situation where you are able to sign up to substitute you can be trained at Frontier and sub only at Frontier. We have a few parents that do this and they have been phenomenal and it is a great way to be involved in your children’s school. Plus it is just a little more cash in your pocket. If this is something you would like more information about please contact us at frontier.elementaryschool@edmondschools.net or click button below.

Our amazing Safety Patrol and all the Parents that helped get our carline moving smoothly and quickly, especially in this colder weather.
