Namib Desert
The Namib Desert is a desert along the South-Western African coast. It has sand dunes, ragged mountains, and is dubbed the "place of no people."
This desert affects Africa in many ways. It provides home to many desert animals.
Cape of Good Hope
The Cape of Good Hope is a cape at the South-Western part of Africa. It provides tourists a wonderful view of the ocean, and makes a home to a lot of wildlife living in the waters.
It has been good for yacht races and is a home to at least 250 species of birds.

Johannesburg
Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa, by population, and has plenty of nicknames: Joburg, Joni, and Jozi. It is the wealthiest city in Africa, and is also the economic powerhouse there. The world's richest gold was found there in the 1880's.
Zambezi River
The Zambezi River is the fourth largest water system in Africa, running from the center of Africa, then across six countries, on it's way to the Indian Ocean. It houses the Victoria Falls, and is home to wildlife and tourism.
Limpopo River
The Limpopo River is about 413,000 square km. It brings water to farms, and it is home to a lot of wildlife. It also brings water to pastures and forests.
Lusaka
Lusaka is the capital and largest city of Zambia. There is also another city in South Africa that has the name of Lusaka. Both have large buildings, and are very industrialized.
Kalahari Desert
The Kalahari Desert is a large desert that extends about 900,000 square km. It comes from the word Dorsland, meaning "Thirsty Land," and is a desert in Nambia, that supports wildlife.
Cabinda
Cabinda is an exclave and a province of Angola. It's capital is also Cabinda. It gives job opportunities to many people.
Orange River
The Orange River is the longest river in south Africa, and is one of the longest rivers in the African Continent. The Vanderkloof Dam provides hydroelectric energy.
Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is a waterfall that is fed by the Zambezi River, and is located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is home to the wildlife there, and is also a great tourism spot!
