Blue Valley Southwest will test during Administration Window #2 (May 18 - May 28), which allows teachers more time to complete their curriculum. This coincides nicely with our later start to the school year. The only exception to this is World Language classes and Music Theory, which were all scheduled to test on Class Day (May 21st). To avoid a conflict with Class Day, World Language and Music Theory will test during Window #1. Please visit the BVSW AP TESTING SCHEDULE for specific test times and dates.
Please note that some tests will be administered via paper/pencil at school and others will be administered digitally with students testing from home. In an effort to match test type to the kind of response required, paper/pencil tests are for subjects that require students to write specialized symbols (Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics). Most other subjects, as they require significant amounts of writing, will be completed digitally, from students’ homes. World Language and Music Theory tests are only available via paper/pencil, so they will also be completed at school.

here is our December show
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtGMKdUpxjQ&t=199s
Here's something about this show you may not know:
In 2013 we threw our hat into the ring to compete against monthly shows from across the nation, we compete through the STN - Student Television Network - the only National competition group for broadcasters. and in 2013 WE WON! We were very surprised and thrilled. Fast forward 7 years we tried our best to win again, and we came up runners-up 3 times, still an honor but not the best.
Then the pandemic.... BUT the WBTV leaders of:
Grace Roberts, Maddie Kelly, Katie Charest, Nityanta Saripalli and Riley Underwood made a full court push to win again! and WE DID! We won the "Broadcast Excellence Award for BEST Monthly show in the nation!!"
We also won first place for BEST Sports Livestream in the nation.

Blue Valley’s 2021 graduations to be held at district activities complex
Blue Valley will be transitioning to outdoor graduations for the class of 2021. All graduations will be held at the district’s Switzer Activities Complex (SWIDAC), 135th & Switzer. The centrally-located complex is well situated to host large-scale events and athletic competitions.
Class of 2021 graduations are scheduled for the following dates:
Saturday, May 22
10:00 a.m. – BVSW
Rain date
Monday, May 24: 5:30 p.m.– BVSW
The district will live stream graduations to provide an alternate format for those who are not able to attend. It is our goal to honor and celebrate the Class of 2021 with as much normalcy as possible while still upholding health and safety guidelines. We will provide more detailed information, including any attendance guidelines, as we near graduation.
Keep up to date with what is happening at BVSW!
