S9GS Library-Media Center
HOORAY!
30 new Chromebooks have replaced the old laptop computers in the mobile lab.
ABOUT CHROMEBOOKS
What exactly is a chromebook?
A Chromebook is a laptop of a different breed. Instead of Windows or Mac OS, Chromebooks run Google's Chrome OS. These machines are designed to be used while connected to the Internet, with applications and documents living in the cloud.
Chromebooks at S9GS
Chromebooks provide access to the Internet and access to Google Drive applications.
- Chromebooks are completely web-based and function by logging in with school Google accounts.
- Students will not have access to applications like the Microsoft office suite.
- However, they will have access to all of the applications within their Google Drive.
