Temperate Deciduous Forest
Some the animals that we would see in a Deciduous Forest would be our American Bald Eagle that flies around the sky. Also we would see white tailed deer and the American Black Bear.
American Bald Eagle
Bald Eagles can reach up to 100 mph when diving for food.
American Black Bear
The American black bear is the smallest of the three bears
species found in North American.
White Tailed Deer
This deer is found in North America from Canada down to South America. The White Tailed Deer is smaller than all the other types of deer.
American Beech
The American Beech tree grows in the southern and eastern parts of the United State.
White Oak
Leaves of White Oak are four to nine inches long, with between five and nine lobes ( finger-like part). They are bright green on top, and whitish underneath.
Guelder Rose
The Guelder Rose prefers to grow at low altitudes and in semi-shade in Scotland and England.
Climate
In the Temperate Deciduous Forest 30 to 60 inches of precipitation falls for a year.
The average temperature of Temperate Deciduous Forest is 50'F. The season changes, the tree leaves change color.
