Seco Scoop
Arroyo Seco Jr. High School -- May 15, 2020
Principal's Message
Hello Seco Families,
As the school year quickly winds down, it's time to collect textbooks! Arroyo Seco has organized a drive-thru procedure to collect textbooks and other school items and to distribute student belongings. This will occur this coming Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, May 19, 20, & 21, from 8 to Noon each day and will follow the schedule outlined at the link below (and also found on the school's website). 8th graders come Tuesday and 7th graders on Wednesday; Thursday is a makeup day. Please take special note of the grade level, date, and alphabetical time slot reserved for your child to minimize back up and to help ensure a quick and efficient process. We look forward to seeing all of our students and families as they drive through the Arroyo Seco campus. Here's the link for more information:
Delivery of yearbooks has been delayed due to the current pandemic. We will distribute them at a later time, to be determined once we receive them. This distribution may occur during the summer or at the start of next school year. We will send out more information as we are able.
Please note that, due to the Memorial Day holiday on May 25, there has been an adjustment to the distance learning schedule that week. Classes that typically "meet" on Monday will meet that Friday, May 29, replacing the regular Friday schedule for that week only. June 4 is the last day of the school year.
We are in the process of putting together an Awards Video which we look forward to sharing with you in the coming weeks.
See below for information about summer school and links to the applications.
We miss all of you and hope you are well. Have a great week!
