Blaze Bulletin
November 1st - Edition 40
Greetings...
Dear Teachers,
I was thinking about educational packaged "programs" that are supposed to fix issues in schools....You know, the ones that have tiers and steps and forms and a lot of paperwork and phone calls, etc.; the ones that take more personnel only we don't get more personnel. And someone who has never stepped foot in our school has written a program that will "fix" us!? While I always read and consider things that are working elsewhere, no one can plan and intentionally implement ideas/actions that will help our school - except our people. So, for those of you who are on committees/teams/groups that are working on efforts at our school, I salute you. You are what makes a difference to OUR kids!
GO BLAZE!

ISTE | Digital citizenship is the new citizenship
When I was in high school, a friend passed out flyers in the hallway asking for help with his Eagle Scout service project. On a crisp Saturday morning, a group of us gathered in a local pioneer cemetery and spent the day pulling weeds, clearing ivy and scrubbing moss off gravestones.
