Homestay Families Needed
International students (strictly following government travel requirements and health & safety protocols) are excited to come to Red Deer for RDCRS’s leading-edge education programs, and our dynamic city/outdoor life.
Consider opening your heart and your home to the next generation of global citizens!
Homestay host families are needed for academic-year placements starting in September 2022. Hosts receive a generous allowance to offset expenses, 24/7 support, special health & safety training, and the opportunity to bring the world to their front door!
We have openings for long-term and short-term placements. A specific need is for homestay families in Rocky Mountain House, horse-loving families, and sports-minded or active families.
We have students coming from Germany, Bangladesh, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
If you have questions about the hosting experience, please contact our homestay partner, Ryanna Hansen who works with our Red Deer office of Canada Homestay Network at hostinfo@canadahomestaynetwork.ca or 1-877-441-4443 ext. 2176.

Counsellor's Corner
After a presentation from motivational speaker Sam Demma, all students have been challenged to commit to a small consistent action that will have a positive impact. Ask your son/daughter what they are thinking about doing.
The grade 9's have had their second visit from the high school counsellors and are filling out course request forms that are due on March 18th.
