Happy Thanksgiving, Pirate Nation! I hope you enjoy the photos below of our little Thanksgiving dinner at school last Thursday. Mrs. Sherry and the ladies in the cafeteria always make us a delicious meal before Thanksgiving break!

  • December 17: Lunch Potluck (you're still invited even if you don't bring anything!)
  • December 17: End of Second Quarter
  • December 20: Winter Break
  • January 3: Start of Second Semester!

Rewards for Grades and Attendance

Nearly 60 CHS students received an ice cream reward for having all A's and B's AND two or fewer absences and tardies, with no ISS or OSS during the first quarter of the school year.

CHS students voted to pick one book for a school-wide book club! The results are in, and Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow is the winner!


Through the book club all CHS students will explore the themes of community, family, mental health, and resilience.
