Attendance Matters
Pushing Attendance!
We need every student here every day.
To help increase attendance, our wonderful PTA is providing incentives for students who have perfect attendance every week. Each week, students with perfect attendance will have their names put in for the monthly drawing. A winner from each grade level will win each month rewarding perfect attendance. The more chances, the increased opportunity to win!
If we, as a campus, increase our attendance average to 97% by the end of April, we will plan a special treat for the entire school during the month of May.

NJHS Shout Outs from This Year
NJHS did a fantastic job in November, in sponsoring a canned food drive for the Center of Hope. As a campus, we provided 295 donations for the Center of Hope.
In December, NJHS along with Student Council, sponsored Stuff the Bus, which was another successful drive that gave back to our wonderful community.
NJHS also enjoyed a wonderful Holiday party and gift exchange just before our winter break.
In February, NJHS hosted a Hospitality room for the UIL competition organized by Mrs. Elbers here at Hall. The students and their parents, went above and beyond in securing food items to provide for the judges coaches, and volunteers from the many different schools that competed in the UIL event.
NJHS students continue to work hard in obtaining their volunteer hours for this school year, by searching out different ways to give back to the community. If you happen to have an event within the community that our NJHS students could volunteer for, please reach out to Mrs. Howard/Mrs. Johnson to secure some NJHS volunteers.
