January Recap

We had a great month of January with the MOMS! We all enjoyed the theme of Renewal and look forward to continuing those great discussions next month. We loved learning about prayer from Kathy and are already applying things we have learned in our daily lives. Molly led a relaxing and lovely Prayer and Pilates session for both morning and evening that helped us all renew and and appreciate the gift of ourselves.

Lenten Gratitude Project

They say it takes 30-40 days to develop a habit, and what better habit to develop than a grateful spirit! We did a Lenten Gratitude Project last year (inspired by Momastery) and it was so fulfilling. You can participate in this project however you want-

1. Keep a running list for all of Lent of what you are grateful for.
2. Take a picture each day of Lent of a gratitude moment or thing and caption it. (you can even instagram and tag it ‪#‎lentengratitudeproject‬ if you are so inclined)
3. Write a paragraph or journal entry of something you are grateful for each day.
4. Post or comment on this facebook group each day with your gratitude moment. This is a special ladies-only facebook group created just for this season for sharing gratitude! Add yourself if you would like to be a part. You are welcome and encouraged to add other friends and family outside of MOMS, however please check with them and explain the project to be sure they want to participate before adding them to the group. Last year we had ladies from all across the country, it was wonderful!
5. Any combination of those or something unique to you! Feel free to involve your families, too.

God created us to praise Him. We are so excited to honor His gifts to us this Lent, and to share in the blessing of the friendships He has given us!

Christ Renews His Parish Women's Weekend

Saturday, March 5th, 8am to Sunday, March 6th, 3:30pm

10350 Glaser Way

Fishers, IN

This parish-based renewal experience, held in the Parish Life Center, offers men and women the opportunity to become acquainted with other parishioners while deepening and strengthening their own relationship with Christ. Participants from previously held retreats conduct the retreat. Christ Renews His Parish weekends are held annually in the Fall and Early Spring. The weekends are presented at no cost to those attending the retreat.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS IS THE TIME FOR ME TO EXPERIENCE CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH? There are many different ways that the Holy Spirit may be nudging you to make this weekend.

  • You need some time to put away the to-do list and just breathe
  • You’ve been considering doing this for a long time and this time you can clear your calendar
  • It seems that everyone you meet keeps telling you how much they enjoyed the CRHP weekend
  • You have this unshakable sense that you could be closer to God
  • God seems closer than ever to you and you want to savor / share the experience
  • You want your neighbors/friends/spouse to quit nagging you to experience Christ Renews His Parish
  • You can’t say why, but something keeps nudging you to sign-up on the website/put your name on the list or call to register
  • Everyone else at Holy Spirit seems to know lots of people and you wish you knew more people too

If any of these apply to you, visit the parish website to find out more and to register!

Prayer and Pilates

Have you tried our Prayer and Pilates yet? If you are uncertain about what to expect, here's a note from our amazing and gifted Molly, certified Pilates instructor and all around special gal! There will be no Prayer and Pilates in the evening in Februrary due to a schedule conflict with Molly's family, but morning will take place the last Thurs of this month!

Hello Moms!

Just wanted to let you all know that we've changed the format a bit for Prayer & Pilates. Last month, we dimmed the lights, used some relaxing essential oils & a did a lot more stretching & relaxation breathing than in past classes. I'll still teach the Pilates Fundamentals & read from scripture or a devotion, but I think the more relaxing class atmosphere worked so well, that I'd like to keep doing it! I welcome any feedback that you may have! Remember to wear comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water & a mat or large towel. Also, feel free to bring any essential oils that you like to use for relaxation! I will bring a few to share as well!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Xo, Molly

If you would like to bring your children to our morning meetings, see information here:

What to Expect at a MOMS meeting

Our ministry is open to women with children of ALL ages. We have veteran mamas and brand new moms, and so much to share and learn from one another as we grow in faith!

Meetings start with an opening prayer and introductions, followed by a discussion on various topics related to our motherhood and our faith. Our time together wraps up with prayer intentions and a closing prayer. Attendance is not required every week to be a part of MOMs – just come when you are able.

Please contact us at if you have any questions before you attend your first meeting!
