Join us for a Virtual Field Trip

Arkansas A+ and Arkansas Historic Preservation Program co-host a virtual field trip to the World War II Japanese American Internment Museum in McGehee, AR for students from Arkansas Arts Academy in Rogers, AR.

Arkansas Arts Academy High School, an A+ school, has been asking students to consider the overarching concept of perseverance, particularly within the context of World War II.

During this virtual field trip Jodi Barnes, archeologist from University of Arkansas, will introduce students to several items in the Museum, the Rohwer Heritage Site, the stories hidden within artifacts and answer student questions.

All are welcome to join us as a viewer. Please access the event through the link provided below. Should you not be able to join us for the live event, the link can be used to view the recorded session at a later date.
