Reminder: Next Week's Parent/Teacher Conferences

We sent an e-mail yesterday to families letting them know about next week's parent/teacher conferences on Thursday and Friday (October 22 and 23). If you haven't signed up for times yet, we strongly recommend doing so as soon as possible. Please reference the e-mail for additional details.

Reminder to Students and Families About Next Week's Schedule

Next week will be a bit of a different schedule for us as a result of the teacher and parent/guardian virtual conferences on Thursday afternoon/evening and Friday. Therefore we will be using the following schedule:

Monday - Wednesday - regular schedule

Thursday - half-day (A-G for 25 minutes each, with English/Math/Wellness/World Languages as synchronous/live instruction and the other subjects as asynchronous)

Friday - No school for students with no synchronous or asynchronous work

Students, we hope you enjoy the shortened week and get some much needed down-time.

A note from the Athletic Director…

The fall season is going well, and it is great to see our student-athletes competing! Please continue to follow the guidelines listed below to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved.
  • Follow the Spectator Policy - Only attending HOME events with your spectator pass/lanyard visible at all times
  • Wear a mask
  • Practice social distancing
  • Wash your hands/using hand sanitizer

Our goal is to keep our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and all families safe and healthy as we complete the fall season.

Winter Update:
At this time, the winter sports season is up in the air as we are waiting for guidance from the state. I will open winter sports registration and share information with all families as soon as it becomes available.

Facility Reminder:
The facilities (track and athletic fields) are closed to the public, while high school events (practices or competitions) are being held. Also, there are no pets allowed on campus per our NRSD policy.

Attendance

Parents/guardians should notify the main office of any student absences as outlined in the Student Handbook by emailing us at NRHmainoffice@nrsd.net

Medical appointments, such as doctor or dentist visits, are excused ONLY once we receive the actual medical note.

You will see a change in the attendance codes for students who are being taught remotely. Instead of using "Present, Absent, or Tardy" we are using "Remote Present" (RP), "Remote Absent" (RA), and "Remote Tardy" (RT) to more accurately reflect attendance.

Technology/Chromebook Support

Students having difficulties with their technology should reach out to district IT support through the following channels:
