WITHIN AND WITHOUT THE GREENWICH VILLAGE BY LITTLE J
" LE'VILLAGE " 1954
Hmm... I wonder who it'll turn out to be. I guess you'll just have to stick around to find out.
Especially you L.B.
PUTTING LE' PIECES TOGETHER WITH PAST AND PRESENT FEMINISM
1. Whether its blue collar, white collar, or pink. Women are able to work in any job they'ed like without being told anything. However, their still exist a controversy on whether or not women are payed equally as men for the same given job.
2.It use to be all about the issue on using B.C "birth control".However now its all about the A "Abortion".Where women deserve the right to to have a say on whether or not they want a BB without it being anyone's business.
3.Fashion has always made a statement on women and L "Lisa" knows that,That's why women now are able to wear what ever they please as to also men do.But still theirs those who believe that we just might look to provocative. Therefore leading to "trouble" that apparently women end up string up for them self's.
IN LE' 1950'S :
1.Women were able to leave their hell hole of a kitchen to work in the real world. But that only lasted for a short period of time. For when the men returned back from WWII it was back to the kitchen for some. Well at least for those who didn't fight against it.
2.Baby boomer era ? More like prevent the B.B. In the 50's women were able to receive information about birth control without it being a "Federal Crime".However they we're still lacked the unobstructed access to safe and effective birth control pills.
3.It was not until the roaring 20's that women were able to start wearing dresses below the knee, and soon after that in the 50's it had become "slightly" below the knee.Talk about great change.
LE' CONNECTIONS :
1.Women are able to work. However, they are still able to choose between working and being a boring stay at home mom. Hmm. For once why don't we change that stay at home into a stay at home dad.
2.People still judge women for their choices on abortion.Which is still very frowned upon in today's society.
3.Women are seen as sex objects still and sadly it will always be seen as that.
