It's the last week of March and we are only a few days away from our first round of STAAR testing. Wow! As stressful as this can be for us, we have to maintain a sense of calm with our students. When we are calm, they sense it. When we build a relationship with them, they are more likely to put forth effort. When we encourage students, their whole mindset changes and they are more likely to be successful. So keep up the hard work, but don't forget to build in a little downtime so that you have the energy to keep on keepin' on!
Bryan and I will begin our summative conferences in April. If you are needing help finding professional development that fits with your goal, please check in with one of us. We are happy to help you find something that meets your needs.
As part of our safety audit, the district is required to conduct a staff survey relating to school safety issues. The survey deadline is this Friday. Please click on the link below and provide your input. Thank you!
