Is not fun

What it is

Hypothermia is when your body temperature drops below 95 degrees. It most often occurs when it is extremely cold outside. Hypothermia can lead to frostbite if exposure to cold continues. If treated early it won't be fatal, but it can be if left untreated.

Classical treatments for hypothermia include: warm drinks, warm clothing and staying active. You can also avoid it by wearing warm clothing and staying active, especially if it's extremely cold outside. You should also avoid going out if it's too cold. Infants and the elderly are especially at risk.
