Monday Musings..

From your Head Teacher

What a great first week back!

Last week was so great - children all back and working so well together and it is almost as if they have been so rested over the break that their brains have just gone into overload on their return and the work level has been amazing! It is always a pleasure to see the children after they have been at home for a couple of weeks. I love hearing their holiday stories and also seeing their smiley faces as they walk back through the door. All the staff are feeling excited about the next half term and everything that your children will be learning. We are in royal company now though! Prince George started at Westacre Montessori Nursery in Norfolk last week and I loved the very natural photos of him on his first day - I hope he settles in well and am thankful for all the positive press this story has given to the world of Montessori!

Afterschool Enrichment Clubs

These clubs start this week back this week. If your child is in either of the cooking clubs please can they bring an apron with them. Thank you.

Last Friday - Finding out about Epiphany

We enjoyed finding out about Epiphany on Friday last week. The hall smelt of Frankincense and Myrrh all day! I cooked a Kings Cake for us all to share at snack time - and there was not a crumb left! Next week on Friday we are finding out about the Hindu festival - Pongal.

Young Voices - O2 trip

Parents who are joining us at the O2 on Wednesday 27th Jan may wish to download the Young Voices App from the App Store. This gives you up to date info about the concert and on the day it shows you where we are sitting so you can try and locate us in the 3500 children and teachers.
