Week of September 3
Let's Do This!! Self Assessment and PDP!
I know this is a busy, busy time. Please log-in to NCEES, and complete the following:
1. Set your "Training Date" as August 22. Ms. Petty shared information about the evaluation rubric at our Opening Meeting.
2. Complete your self-assessment and mark complete. You will see a green check after marking complete!
3. Complete your Professional Development Plan! You should have three goals; one goals is personal, one goal should be surrounding technology and digital learning, and a final goal about guided reading. Has anyone completed their PDP yet? Glad you asked! Go, Ms. Jones!! You're a rock star! PDP written already!

Tuesday: Mrs. Burnette meets with Grades 1, 2 teachers in the media center after school.
Wednesday: School Leadership Team Meeting media center at 3:20. Please come quickly after buses.
Thursday:
Friday: Grandparents Luncheon - Please invite Grandparents to Lunch! We will have something special for all Grandparents.

*Make sure you're assessing during your Literacy Block, your Tier II time or your Panda time.
* Please remember to go up 2 levels from where the kids were last year.
* Make sure you're assessing the right student, and you're on BOY.
* Make sure you have viewed the Written Response video. Make sure you've signed the form in Mrs. Lane's office.

Welcome New Folks and a Couple of Reminders
2. Please welcome Mrs. Johnson to the PES family. Mrs. Johnson joins our pre-k team as an IA and has worked with pre-school for many years!! She is from Bonlee and has two boys! Welcome Mrs. Johnson!!
3. Please make sure you are teaching and reminding your kids about our school's PAWS. Make sure your students are level zero in the hallways at all times. Also, make sure all classes observe the 10 minutes of silence at the beginning of lunch.
4. Class Dojo: I realize that many of you have not used Class Dojo for your individual classes. Please make sure you set up Class Dojo for all of your students. This was stated during our PLCs before school. We will check-in at PLC meetings to come! Let me know if you need anything!
5. We are in need of an IA to work with our PreK students after school. Please let me know if you are available.
6. Keep the instruction coming! It's important to continue to teach rules and routines, but let's make sure during this second week, we are also tackling our standards and instructional prioritizes. #belltobellinstruction #notamomenttowaste #keepthekidsengaged
