Weekly Update
Hello Students,
For the safety of our students and staff, the Office of International Engagement will be closed to all student walk-ins and appointments March 21-29. Staff are working remotely and we encourage you to contact us by phone or email.
For questions or concerns, please contact International@uca.edu or call (501) 450-3445 between the hours of 8:00 – 4:30 pm. For urgent matters, please contact Associate Vice President, Dr. Phillip Bailey at (501) 450-3262 or phillipb@uca.edu.
Important - Travel & Travel Signatures
- If your I-20 has been signed for travel with a date of September 1, 2019 or more recent, you do not need another signature. Please contact us by email with your travel information such as departure and return dates.
- If you are not sure if you need a travel signature, please take a photo of your I-20 and send it to pwoodardgeorge@uca.edu or shabtermariam@uca.edu. It will be reviewed and further instructions will be given to you.
- If your I-20 does not have a travel signature and you are returning home, please complete the "Request for Travel Signature" Google Form found here. Staff will be monitoring responses to this form and will be contacting you with further instructions. Before you return to campus, we will send you a pdf of a new signed I-20 and a letter that will allow you to enter the country upon your return to the U.S.

Also, since the food pantry has been closed on campus, 18 bags of groceries have been delivered to the Counseling Center for those in need. Nine of the bags contain no pork products. Please call Reesa Ramsahai at 450-3138 to arrange a pick-up.
ARKANSAS FUN FACTS
Apple Blossom (Pyrus coronaria)
The apple blossom was adopted as the Arkansas State Flower by the General Assembly of 1901. Apple blossoms have pink and white petals and green leaves. At one time Arkansas was a major apple-producing state. The town of Lincoln in Washington County hosts the annual Arkansas Apple Festival.
